Content Catalyst Program.

The Content Catalyst Program, a collaborative effort by Media Challenge Initiative and the French Embassy in Uganda, empowers 15 skilled, talented and experienced young content creators from urban regions of Uganda — predominantly female — to achieve self-employment and build sustainable businesses within their communities, through a year-long digital skills training and incubation program. Beginning with a one-week pilot training facilitated by MCI, young content creators gain essential production skills used to develop quality and monetizable media content. Following the pilot workshop, the top 3 content creators are granted seed funds and working space at the MCI Media Hub, a five-month mentorship, business incubation, and a refresher training program to produce content and kickstart their enterprises.
