Rhonet Atwiine

Rhonet Atwiine is a multimedia journalist in Uganda who is passionate about solution journalism. Currently, she is a health journalist with Solutions Now Africa, Africa's first solution newsroom, producing immersive stories on innovations, models, and systems working around Africa. Atwiine has so far covered topics like health access in a low-resource setting, SRHR issues, E-Health, Congenital abnormalities, innovations, climate change, and neonatal health. She is an award-winning journalist and has passed through several trainings with both local and international media training organizations. Among these include Media Innovators Community (AKU), Media Challenge Initiative Fellowship program 2020, Reporting on SRHR by CEHURD, and the Constructive Journalism Fellowship by DW (2022).
