The Challenge
Combating Disinformation by Cultivating Public Resilience and Media Literacy
Disinformation spreads rapidly, and the only effective way to combat it is by equipping the public to stay ahead of it. This requires giving people a head start—a foundation where they fall in love with facts, develop resilience, cultivate the capacity to fact-check, attain media literacy to predict disinformation, and maintain awareness of trusted sources of information.
How We Fixed It
<p>For the last 6 years we have hosted the MCI Fellowship Program under the Next Gen Journalist Program skilling over 180 young journalists. Our ONE-MAN-WOMAN-ARMY-JOURNALIST training model produces MULTI-SKILLED, MULTI-EARNING Journalists who beyond reporting are THOUGHT LEADER BRANDS AND CREATORS.</p>
