Safeguarding the information ecosystem
Assumption
Disinformation travels super first. The only way to fight it is to a have a public that is ahead of it. Therefore, people need a HEAD START.
The Challenge
Combating Disinformation by Cultivating Public Resilience and Media Literacy
Disinformation spreads rapidly, and the only effective way to combat it is by equipping the public to stay ahead of it. This requires giving people a head start—a foundation where they fall in love with facts, develop resilience, cultivate the capacity to fact-check, attain media literacy to predict disinformation, and maintain awareness of trusted sources of information.

How We Fixed It
The information ecosystem is deeply polluted, and we are committed to detoxifying it by disarming disinformation. While spreaders of disinformation are sleek, we are choosing to be even sleeker—building a media-literate public that is resilient, capable of seeking facts independently, and equipped to fight disinformation. Our approach safeguards the ecosystem through a triple dose of strategies: pre-bunking, debunking, and rebuilding public trust in media as a credible source of news.
